If you’re just tuning into our business, or have just landed on our site, welcome! You’re here at the perfect time. Our business has just undergone an extensive rebrand to capture more of the essence of what we offer as well as some big expansions into the larger arena of nature-based learning.

We dropped the word ‘floral’ in our name even though we still offer floral artistry workshops because quite simply, we are NOT a typical florist brick and mortar store. No…we want to bring you in on the fun of learning and experimenting in floral and seasonal plant-based artistry!

In addition to workshops with a floral & creative bend, we have expanded our line of offerings to include 3 major areas of nature-based learning:

• biomimicry

• ecological design and,

• nature’s pattern language

Each of these fields offer profound teachings in understanding how and why natural systems function the way they do from the micro to the macro and everywhere in between.

Our Vision

We envision a world where turning to nature for inspiration, innovation and to foster community is the norm, not the exception. And we see resourcing from nature's wisdom teachings every day as a necessity for optimum health and well-being. We therefore aim to engage you in activities that show you how to problem-solve the way nature would ! If it sounds unbelievable, you’re right! As an organism whose species is roughly 2 million years old (but built on one billion plus years of organizational and evolutionary intelligence), homo sapiens sure have a lot of learn.

For example, how does nature solve a problem? Determine which way to send roots? Or how to grow a new limb after being severed? Embedded within all living systems are operating instructions, from single celled bacteria to a hundred plus species tropical forest.

Fueled by Julia’s experiences in deep ecology and educational pedagogy teaching wholistic science, these powerful workshops will get you thinking like nature does to uncover novel solutions, and work smarter and more harmoniously in your life.
